Compression Moulding:

Through active collaboration with M/s Tenmat Ltd, we have developed brake gear bushes made from polyester resin based composite material for the Indian Railways. These have replaced the conventional nylon and phenolic bushes.

Some of the key advantages are:

  • Intrinsically self lubricating
  • Higher in strength
  • Increased service life

The use of these bushes has not only led to better performance but also significant cost savings to the Indian Railways.

There are several other products at different stages of field trials with the Indian Railways.
